My uncle dropped by on Thursday night with a surprise for me! A BAG FILLED WITH STAMPS! Foreign stamps...! Local stamps...! He's awesome and always the one who help me with my stamp collection!!

To me, stamps tell stories from all over the world especially from other countries and I like them! So people, if you received some nice local or foreign stamps, pls pls do keep for me!! Thanks alot in advance! Haha!! =D

Had the third practice with Chinese Drama people today. It's fun!! ^ ^

They are all very nice and funny + abit of crappy de people. Haha..!! Now I see why RuiTing likes her cca so so much!! Haha!! I'm glad I've joined them. =D

Anyway. It been great three days after the SA. Thursday slept till afternoon. Nice~ Haha! Then, had great practices on Friday and today.

Most importantly, it's Earth Day today! People all over the world will switch of their lights from 8.30 - 9.30pm. Well, most of them will, I think. =D But I know I would definately do that! Haha..! People! SAVE OUR EARTH!!

Woohoo...!!!

SA ended yesterday. It was quite a relieve. Almost died with the headache during the last Geography paper. Now. FINALLY! I can sleep in peace! Haha. Though I'm still down with flu, at least now I can sleep more more more!!

MrKhairul said, after ART exam yesterday, that when he saw us having the 3hr Art paper, he was thinking who was the one who came up with 'exams'. I think we all looked as if being 'tortured' then. Especially when the aircon was too strong yesterday.

Poor Shaun was sitting right under the aircon. We were still 'complaining' about the aircon after the collection of paper but MrKhairul cant switch it off. He even joked and pointed to Shaun, said that he is 'surviving' well. Haha..!

The thing is, exams may be a good thing to test how much we've learnt at that point of time but somehow, sometimes it just got too much for the students. It is really crazy to see people having to rush through their homework and study for the SA over that one week March holiday and even after they return to school. Haiz.. I also feel sad for the teachers who had to invigilate these exams and mark the papers.

Haiz.. Oh well. It's a good time to reflect how much I am prepared for A levels too. Must keep moving forward!!

Things happened. Many things...

One of the few was the Chinese Drama. I cant believe I'm going to participate in Chinese Drama SYF! All thanks to RuiTing... xD Haha! Somehow.. A bit scared I'll mess things up but the people are nice. RuiTing. I'll try my best! ^ ^

The other was the Art Reunion last night. Though I'm suppose to be studying for my SA, somehow, the organisers had put in much effort so I really didnt want to miss it. Gladly, HongWei and Shaun came or I'll be pretty much alone. Also, I get to know of one senior, XueZhen. She's now a contact teacher in PasirRis Sec teaching art. Of course, our senior who just graduated also came back.





Anyway. It's so fun to see people from 89 batch to 08 batch gather in the Lecture Theatre. Some were pregnent. Some had their babies or children with them and many came back with their partners too... Though we may have some age gap but we were all sitting down to listen to MrsChoo talk as though we were all students listening to a lecture. Haha.. Soooo nice..





The only sad thing was that MrDaniel did not make it but gladly, MrKhairul came in time with his wife! =D

It's been a long two weeks for me. Somehow, so many other things seems to have happened yet I dont know what to write.

Somehow, it's a little bit of sadness + a little bit of emptiness for me these days... Perhaps I am really tired tired now.... So many things... So little time...

On the last day of IT fair, I bought a MP4 for my sis. Gosh.. It was so so crowded. But since I'm going there and she's been longing for one, I tried to find one for her. But it was really tough to find one that was affordable for me with that amount of money I brought out that day... Finally saw one but wasnt good. However, I had no choice already.. I cant find another one le!

Of course, even I dont really think it's good, so how can my sis really likes it?? She seems ok with it but I know she doesnt really like it that much though.. Just appreciate it. (Don't worry! I promise to buy a better one for you soon. I hope.. xD)

Anyway. SA exams are next week. In the midst of preparing for it now. But also a very bad time to fall sick. Caught up with fever yesterday and made me missed my Maths extra lesson. Gladly, MrNg will arrange another session with me this week. Still, the flu is killing me even till now. 5 days already~! Stupid flu pls go away!!

Somehow, things are not going that well though.. I need to persevere on!!

Anyway. It's gonna be a chiong-chiong-chiong week for me.. I MUST BE STRONG!!

First big thing today is the fire-drill exercise we had today! I was so hungry that I thought perhaps after PE, I could chiong to buy some food. Just as I went to the Art Room to place my bag, the fire-drill went off... -.-" It was soooo hot out there in the field. The sun was blazing! MrKhairul even said: We would have been burnt by the sun even before the fire get to us. Hahaha..!

But the more funny thing was that we even saw a guy who carried a bowl of noodle out to the field. He must be so hungry! Haha..! Furthermore, Bryan was saying: So sueh... He was bathing halfway when the fire-drill went and he had to rush out! Hahaha..!

Now! The next big thing! Muahahaha! Had a big surprise for RuiTing today! She had been kind of low lately so Jasmine, WanChin, XingYing and I got a big surprise for her! And since her lesson ended late today at 6pm, we have got quite sometime to prepare! Muahaha!

So, before that, we prepared a big piece of board and pasted two big photos of her on it. Then, all of us wrote somethings to her to encourage her and let her know that we will always stand by her! On the board, it is stated, big and clearly: Today Is I Want You To Be Happy Day! Then, at 6pm, Jasmine and I left the board at the end of a corridor which she will sure to pass by after her lesson...



Somehow, her class was slightly later than some other classes so many people ended up staring at the big board with her big face on it for a while. Haha! Jasmine and I even hid in the nearest empty classroom so that in any case, she'll not see us. Luckily, we even got Shahidah to be the 'spy' for us and give us signal when she's coming out. Wahahahah!

Her reaction was sooo funny! From inside the classroom, we could hear her go: "Eeehhhh!! My name..! EHHHH!!" Hahaha! It was fun! So we 'tailed' her all the way from D-block to cafe before WanChin and XingYing came to us and we all scare her together from behind her back! Hahah..! It's good to have finally shocked her as her birthday surprise was not so much of a 'surprise' for her! Haha..!



Anyway, after that, she left school while the rest of us stayed for awhile more. Just nice, THE MOON CAME OUT! WooHoo! It was barely 7pm and it's already out! Big and nice! Hahah..! This is the best! Love the moon and the colour of the sky sooo much! Glad I didnt missed it!



Finally. The good news that wrapped up my day! Tampines Family Service Centre somewhat agreed to let my class have our service learning there but the only sad thing is that we'll have to wait till June. Oh well. I think it's good enough though. Wheee~!

Life goes on no matter what...!

Just like what Wally said before: We'll always get somethings from competitions. Either winnings or lessons. Indeed, I've learnt a great lesson! I must have picked myself up already! Thanks alot for the support!

Seeing my seniors take A levels result and myself taking chinese A levels result is super super scary...! Somehow, I realised that time is really not enough now. I must really work hard now! Somehow, time never seems to be enough... Somehow, I'm quite moivated but scared at the same time...! Hope things will go well...!

Anyway... It's great to see the seniors back though! They are awesome..!! Woohoo...! And congrats to those who got great results!! Woohoo!





Well... Somehow... My progress in Art is rather slow...No matter what, constantly working is always better than stopping. It's so nice to see my Art having some progress through not as much as I should have done. Still, the move from realistic scenery to abstract art.... Well, felt uneasy at first but it's going quite well now... I'll move on and work on from here..! Jia You!! Woohoo!!





Things will turn out fine as long as we keep working hard and working smart! It'll be a tough but meaningful year! With my dear friends, it'll be a great great year!

Really cant wait for a Yumin primary 'reunion'....! That is if I get the time to plan a simple one!! ^ ^

It's the release of A level results + my A levels Chinese result tomorrow...!!!

Arrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhh.............................!!!

So many things happened in the past few weeks... The roadrun at East Coast park, Yew Tee competition, art, etc... Still, the one thing that affected me the most was the Yew Tee competition.

I failed myself again. Got really diappointed when I did not win the calligraphy competition at Yew Tee Community Centre. Perhaps I was too into winning but seriously, what's the point? Maybe I just want to prove my ability, which I dont really have though... So. Thanks to my mum's and friends' encouragement, I'm feeling better now. Just like Jake said, I have to pick myself up again and do well in the upcoming one. =) Yes..!! I must Jia You!! A little setback will in fact strengthen me and bring me further and higher!!

Well... Calligraphy room is now packed and filled and cramped with people. Too many people came, J2 mostly, just because the school made it compulsory for ALL to have a CCA. So, they came just because they did not have a CCA so they tried to find one slack CCA? So what's the point of coming then??

I dont know. It seems nice that many people came yet it is so sad to see that many came because they were somewhat forced to and not because they have the passion for it. Perhaps, they will regret as calligrpahy may not be as slack as they think because it takes much concentration and perseverence with determination to sit there for about 3 hours just to write some words, without dosing off. Haha...!

Well, I just have to do my part and do it well for now! So so so much things for me to catch up in school. Both studies and calligraphy. Must Jia You now!! Woohoo!!
