First day of June holiday yesterday!

Yet, it is not really a holiday for us. It's just more self-study and chiong-ing for us! ^ ^ I like that though. Can focus revision liao! Whee~

Anyway. Went to support Xu Tao who participated 十方唱将 singing competition at DBS Auditorium with RuiTing, WanChin, Joyce, Rachel, LinShan and DaPok. Though it ended very late. I think it's quite nice..! He sang well..! *clap clap clap*

Though he didnt win top prizes, I believe it has been quite an experience for him! =)

Competitions... What I've went through them for many times...

A friend once told me something and I agree! Everytime, I will win. As to what I win each time, it may be different: Experiences... Stronger friendships... Fun... Or when lucky - Prizes... No matter what, there's no losers.

Indeed. I believe so...! Just have to believe in yourself! There's always hope! =)

There was this issue of ex-students and ex-staff being banned from logging into tpjc.net for security reasons but many objected while some agreed to it.

I was quite upset and found it meaningless for this too. However, Hannah had a different view.

She felt that what the school did was right as there is no reason for ex-students or ex-staff to log in anymore especially since they have left the school already. It is also for security reasons that they did this.

I dont know. Not really agreeing to what she said though. Perhaps if for any reasons, they could have just banned some people but... everyone else..?? I'm just confused.

It's been a really great week!! Whee~


Wednesday:
The first great event was Sports' Day on Wednesday! Though everyone not as enthu as last year, I still got quite high!! Whee...! However, I am kind of disappointed that drama club couldnt go Teo Heng together because it was fully booked that day. But glad that some of us still manage to have a quick lunch at KFC together. ^ ^

Thursday:
Now. The next BIG thing! Met up with Phoebe last Thursday!! Oh gosh..! It's been so so long since we last met! Jasmine got to meet up with her at Tampines1 first while I waited for RuiTing to end school and go together. WanChin was at home so we had to drag her out! Haha!! So glad she made it!

So yes! First visit to T1 that day. Made a promise with RuiTing and WanChin that we'll go together. In the end, RuiTing and I stepped in first though we really wanted to wait for WanChin.. Heehee..

The place is great but what attracted me the most is the bookshop! SO NICE! Went shoping around and then we had a nice chilling yogurt treat that wrapped up our mini gathering!





Saturday:
Of course my awesome week did not just end here! Saturday was great! Busy yet enjoyed the whole day! Went shop at T1 bookshop, went Teachers' Art exhibition at TeoChew building and finally, went RJC for their Chinese Drama performance! Whee~ 谢谢外星人 also！^ ^

Most importantly, I couldnt believe that I got to meet MrChin (MrCheng), my Sec1 and Sec2 art teacher! He was the one who invited me to the opening ceremony of this exhibition and I was surprised to see my Calligraphy teacher, MrZeng's Calligraphy pieces there too!

I am so proud and happy to see so many pieces of MrChin's works being displayed and yesterday, I heard from him that he sold two of his paintings! Yay! MrChin deals very well with watercolour and this tree he painted is a tree at Botanic Garden which is also depicted behind 5 dollars notes! Check it out!





Been so many years since I last met MrChin! Since sec3? Ya... After that we only got to contact through smsing but never got to meet so I was quite surprised to see that he didnt change at all after all these years!! Still as nice as ever! Haha! What shocked me again was that he know my current art teacher, MrsChoo too!! Such a small small world..!

The RJC Drama performance was quite nice too...! They had Gold for SYF this year and I am so shocked to see that PeiJun was acting!! (My poor heart almost couldnt take all these surprises and shocks in one day...) Anyway, more surprises when I saw ChangYong who also came to support. Then, I think I saw Yingnan and XianJin but wasnt sure if it's them. :P



Last but not least... Dad is coming back from China tomorrow!!! Whee...!! Muahahahahahah!!

For now... The only thing that made me a little troubled is this choice that I had to make. This Saturday, 30 May, XuTao is singing at DHS Audi at 6.30pm and few of us have agreed to go and support him. But I forgot about PeiRong's harmonica performance at VJC on the same day at 7.30pm! She told me about it before but that was quite some time ago...

I only remembered about it when she sms-ed me yesterday. Gosh... What should I do?!? I love peformances and I really wanted to go and support both of them!!! If only I could split myself into two...

It's only like this what... It's only like that what...

Often see and hear people taking things so lightly. To them, things they do may seems insignificant but it can mean alot. Yet, they are giving excuses for little things they did and they thought it's nothing much.

Saw this very big moth flying at the void deck the other morning and it struck me with some thoughts. The moth was flying in a very weird and unstable way while 'bumping' into walls. Then, I realised that it was because a quarter of its wings was gone. Perhaps torn by something. 

But it's a quarter only what... 

Yet, this quarter of its wings was the reason why it was so so unstable and having such a hard time trying to fly normally. This just got me thinking and somehow.. This little thing did reflect things around us in a way or another... 

Almost died during PE today. Was having flu but I need to take my 2.4km-run today. Since I wish to get over it quickly, I ran and I was so wrong...

My lungs started to hurt slightly on the 4th round but I knew I had to persevere on. Though it was quite bad and I had to stop for quite a few times, I knew that I must continue since I've ran so many rounds already. Gladly, I got motivated on my last round, though I still had to stop for a while and could not chiong all the way.

Finally, I finished. I quickly walked towards the rest but couldnt take it so I ended up lying down instead. I couldnt really catch my breath at first and I had to take things really slowly then. It got really bad... Felt like vomitting, was pale and very very giddy. I couldnt drink, couldnt stand, couldnt talk much and was sweating as though I was raining.

In the end, I took about half an hour to recover. It was long....! Linette said it was a heat stroke but I wasnt sure. Perhaps I took too little breakfast this morning la.

Thanks to the Mocha Breeze Linette bought for me which gave me the energy! Three cheers for Choco!! Whee~

So ya. Heard something when Jiamin talked to Cheryl which made me feel like laughing but really had no energy at all to do so. Jiamin said 'She should be alright as long as she's moving.' or something like this. Haha! Must be that I was lying down so motionless that Cheryl thought something happened to me.

Anyway. Really thanks to Joanne, Linette, JunHui, Jiamin, PeiJun and Cheryl for their concern. Also, I am so sorry that I took up much of their time as they waited for me (in case I faint). Haha!

*Pls remember! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so pls dont forget to take your breakfast or eat too too little wor!

So lastly... MsChoo visited our class today and talked about ambition. Somehow... I got me thinking about my life AGAIN. How will it be like 10 years, 20 years or even 50 years down the road? Will I be able to meet up and see my current friends like how it is these days? I dont know...

Good morning Miss Choo, Mr. Tan, teachers and fellow tpjcians.

I am proud to announce that our college’s Chinese drama team has obtained a Silver award in the SYF central judging competition held last Friday.

I would like to sincerely thank all my drama mates for their effort that put in.

The path to greatness is often paved with innumerable obstacles but I am proud to say that we’ve overcame most of them.

To each and every one of my drama members, thank you so much for giving me a wonderful memory that I will not forget for a life time. The fun, joy and laughters we shared are greatly treasured. 2years down the road, we will make a comeback and conquer that stage again. We will continue to strive toward our goal and the common vision we have. Once again, thankyou for the wonderful experience. You guys are a bunch of amazing people.

Finally and most importantly! I found the song I've been searching for, since PriSch! Amigos Para Siempre! After hearing a teacher sang it, I knew the lyrics and tune for the chorus ever since but I never recall the name. Luckily, TPJC Guitar club played this and I happen to hear it during our college day rehearsal so I got the name from Hannah and here it is!! Woohoo!

Love the chorus and I'm giving this to all my friends, especially to my 同类 - 外星人! This song so true! Haha!

SO SAD! I missed YanFen announcement on our SYF results this morning just because I was walking to dont know where then couldnt hear the PA system properly!! =(

Anyway. I'm feeling better already. I'm sure most of us are too. Feels so so happy when many of us happen to meet at the canteen this morning just before the school gate opens. RuiTing and I saw XuTao first, then RooKiat, then Rachel, YuBo and LinShan. Though it's just a short few minutes that few of us stood together and talked, I felt so happy then! It's really great even to be just around these people without doing much!

Also, thanks to all my other friends who helped cheer me up after knowing that I was upset over the results. Thanks alot for being there!

Indeed I am sad but like what many of them said, the process is the most IMPORTANT, AWESOME and most PRECIOUS thus it is still great! In our hearts, we've already clinched Gold With Honors! Woohoo!!

Went NTU School of Art Design and Media (ADM) today with MrsChoo, Linette, HongWei, Nicholas and LiJun to visit their graduated art students' work exhibition. Assistant Professor Ina Conradi is a very nice and pretty lady who is a friend of MrsChoo and is also a lecturer there together with her husband. MrsChoo got me to bring a few pieces of my works to show her and I am really glad to get much of her encouragement! Whee~ I will work much harder!!
